The S84 Shade to Black uses the same USA Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan Maduro and Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro filler leaves as the M81 only this time its covered by a smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper. By swapping out the wrapper, the S84 Shade to Black offers a smooth, nuanced, and deliciously inviting smoking journey. The “S” in the name refers to the cigar’s shade wrapper, the “84” is the year Metallica released their “Ride the Lightning” album and “Shade to Black” is a reference to “Fade to Black” a song on the album. This medium to medium full blend is a creamy, smooth balanced smoke with an underlying sweetness and notes of spice and coffee.
