Foundation Metapa Toro cigars are blended by brand owner Nick Melillo and crafted by A.J. Fernandez at his famous factory in Nicaragua. These 5*50 premiums are inspired by the famous Nicaraguan poet Dario Ruben a cultural icon from this rich tobacco growing country. Melillo honored Dario’s legacy with a blend featuring a beautiful Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, a first for Foundation, covering a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and aged Nicaraguan fillers. This was a long lasting smoke with a balanced and complex medium-bodied mix of leather, nuts, dark roast coffee , spices, and tobacco sweetness.
