Foundation Metapa Toro cigars are blended by brand owner Nick Melillo and crafted by A.J. Fernandez at his famous factory in Nicaragua. These 6x52 premiums are inspired by the famous Nicaraguan poet Dario Ruben a cultural icon from this rich tobacco growing country. Melillo honored Dario’s legacy with a blend featuring a beautiful Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, a first for Foundation, covering a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and aged Nicaraguan fillers. This was a long lasting smoke with a balanced and complex medium-bodied mix of leather, nuts, dark roast coffee , spices, and tobacco sweetness.
