The Padron Family Reserve No.44 Natural box pressed torpedo cigar was released in 2008 to commemorate the 44th anniversary of Padron Cigars. They oversee the planting, growing, curing and rolling of their own crops, and, in doing so, the Padrons manage to stockpile and age tobacco for prolonged periods of time. The limited release Family Reserve is made with Nicaraguan tobacco aged for ten years or more... a rarity in the cigar industry. It's a medium bodied, smooth, complex smoke with rich notes of wood, nuts, subtle spice and sweetness, revealing layers of flavour that continue to evolve as the cigar progresses.
