Description

Alma del Cielo is Spanish for “soul of the sky” and refers to the Plasencia family’s San Julián farm, located 3500 feet above sea level in Nicaragua’s fertile tobacco-growing landscape. Alma del Cielo cigars are drawn entirely from Nicaraguan tobaccos grown on Plasencia estates, including a wrapper from Jalapa and select long-fillers from the San Julián farm, where a cooler evening climate, lack of shade, and a fresh mountain spring nurture the high-elevation crops. Tasting notes of leather, cinnamon, and pepper mingle with hints of plum before a medium-bodied profile of fresh bread and oak emerges over a spicy undercurrent.
