Description
La Manzanita or “Little Apple” in Spanish, is a tribute to the strong cultural history of tobacco use by Native Americans. Once you catch a glimpse of the rich red habano wrapper, you will immediately understand the name. The "little apple," utilizes a hybrid Habano wrapper, a Habano binder, and a long-filler blend including Pelo de Oro, Corojo 99, and Ligero tobaccos, but their countries of origin remain undisclosed. (According to both Holt and AJ Fernandez, this blend got its name during the wrapper sorting process, as the hybrid leaf exhibited a deep redness like the bark of the manzanita tree.) Handcrafted at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Estelí, each premium provides a smooth and aromatic smoking experience, filled with notes of spice, dark chocolate, cedar, caramel, earth, hay.
