Jacob’s Ladder Brimstone. This is a cigar so bold Lucifer saves them for after-dinner, but so smooth the angels smoke ‘em for breakfast. The intensity sits a few notches higher than the original Jacob’s Ladder, but the flavors are still smooth enough to be accessible to just about any palate. made by AJ Fernandez, the outside is the same as the original, a toothy Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, but the Ecuador Maduro binder has been swapped for a heavy American-grown leaf. The Nicaraguan filler from the original is accompanied by Dominican tobacco, and a good amount of ligero was included to appease any double-ligero lovers out there. When fire meets Brimstone, you can expect a blast of spicy-yet-smooth flavors of pepper, cedar, earth, and espresso.
